Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilarare the new couple of the moment.
On June 10, the Mexican singers confirmed that they are in a relationship after romance rumors circulated online.
“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer,” Nodal, 25, and Aguilar, 20, told Hola! USA.
The publication also shared their first photos as a couple, which showed Nodal embracing Aguilar from behind and kissing her neck. The second photo showed them sitting together with Nodal playing the guitar.
The website noted that the pair began their relationship after Nodal and his former girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Cazzu, broke up.
Additionally, Nodal posted an Instagram video on June 11 addressing infidelity rumors between him and his former partner. He said he had a lot of respect for Cazzu (whose given name is Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli) and is now in a new relationship with “a woman I love.”
“Now I find myself living a precious experience with a woman I love,” Nodal said, later adding, “We are enjoying it, we are living the experience.”
On May 23, Nodal and Cazzu announced their split after two years of dating and eight months after their daughter, Inti, was born.
According to Billboard, in since-deleted Instagrams, Nodal said, in part, “Our love and respect for each other remains strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti. I am deeply grateful for the moments we shared and will always carry those memories fondly. I appreciate your support and understanding during this time of change.”
The “Mis Amigas Las Flores” singer and the regional Mexican crooner surprised fans with their news — but the twosome have a history together.

Nodal and Aguilar have known each other for years. Nodal was a special guest during Aguilar, her famous father Pepe Aguilar and brother Leonardo Aguilar’s joint tour, “Jaripeo Sin Fronteras,” in 2018.
July 2019: They performed at Premios Juventud
They also performed together at the 2019 Premios Juventud at Watsco Center on July 18, 2019 in Coral Gables, Florida.
November 2020: They release 'Dime Cómo Quieres'
In late 2020, the singers released their first collaboration, the song “Dime Cómo Quieres.”
The song is about a guy who falls in love with a girl, but she isn't impressed by his romantic gestures.
“I couldn’t stop laughing while recording my part. When you record a duet well you have that human interaction and a lot of your facial expressions are a reaction to what the other person is doing,” Aguilar told Billboard when they released the music video. “But here, I was singing to a green screen and a guy from our production team who pretended to be Nodal.”
February 2022: They perform together again at Premio Lo Nuestro
The singers reunited in February 2022 when they were part of a Vicente Fernandez tribute at Premio Lo Nuestro. The pair sang alongside Grupo Firme singer Eduin Caz, David Bisbal, AB Luna and Camilo.
May 2024: Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar perform together
Days after announcing his separation from Cazzu, Nodal performed at the Arena Monterrey in Mexico. Aguilar was among the special guests that night and joined Nodal to sing their song “Dime Cómo Quieres,” according to Hola USA.
June 2024: They confirm their relationship and show PDA
On June 10, the pair released a joint statement confirming their relationship.
“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer,” Nodal and Aguilar told Hola! USA.
The following day, on June 11, Nodal also addressed his and Aguilar's relationship — and infidelity rumors — in an Instagram video. Saying he had nothing but love for his ex, Cazzu, and their daughter, he said he was in a new relationship with a woman he loves.
“Now I find myself living a precious experience with a woman I love,” Nodal said. “We are enjoying it, we are living the experience.”
That same night, during Nodal’s concert at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Aguilar was a surprise guest. The duo sang her famous father Pepe Aguilar’s song “Por Mujeres Como Tu,”before singing their song “Dime Cómo Quieres.”
In video obtained by Hoy Dia, the singers are seen kissing on stage and Aguilar calling him “my boyfriend” in Spanish.
